LVP605 blending switch and related notices

FAQ Time:2015-11-11

Some users find the function “Blending Switch” is added into the switch mode, but don’t know how to use it. Now we will introduce this function in details and some notices during the operation.

1.   Models:

LVP605/LVP605D/LVP605S

2.   Problem Description:

Under “Blending Switch” mode, users don’t know how to operate and why they can’t perform other operations.

3.   Analysis and Solution:

Users who are familiar with some video processors normally know “Seamless Switch” and “Fade in/Fade out” very well. Actually we can take “Blending Switch” as a special kind of “Fade in/Fade out”, it is only that some steady state of translucent overlay signal is added between initial signal (background) and ending signal (blend). This steady state is blending and it’s of great significance to some specific application. Under this state, press the key for corresponding signal, picture will be switched to initial state or ending state.

Notice: Blending switch includes initial state, intermediate state and ending state. It has some restrictions under this mode:

1. New input signal can be chosen only when some signal is completely switched. Signals except initial one and ending one can’t be chosen during the intermediate state.

2. It’s only possible to perform signal switch under this mode, other operations like “enter setup menu” or “start PIP” are all invalid until C/F key is pressed to quit from blending switch. The processor will not react to those invalid operations, instead it will provide the corresponding feedback on the LCD screen.
