Compare to civil used LCD screen，fresh emerging LED screen secure apparent advantage in color gamut, brightness, gray scale etc, especially in commercial venue. As the key peripheral equipment supplier，VDWALL continually dedicated to providing solution with realistic scenery , Genlock cascading is one of the most common and important technique.    

Image clarity evolution is the history of improving input signal quality, from analogue signal to digital signal, from 2K to 4k then the upcoming 8K resolution. Though all the video processor vendors are preparing for the arrival of 8K era，seems chip solution provider encounter unexpected obstacles, so the 8K processor is still in pregnancy.

In the great revolution of pursuing crisp detail, we introduced Genlock cascading technology to upgrade input resolution and output driving capability. So what is Genlcok Cascading? in a word, multiple processor synchronously drive LED screen, with no image crack or misalignment.

The following diagram is a typical Genlock application, core device is media server and 4K Genlock processor A65.

As the diagram, LED screen resolution is 10944（W）*3968（H）, 6 A65 provide 11520*4320 input resolution and output driving capability, to fully develop the performance of this fine pitch LED screen, bring impeccable visual experience.

Solution brief introduction：

1:  6 A65 completely synchronized via Genlock，without image crack  

2：4K media server generates 6 synchronous HDMI signal to A65

Sometimes I wonder, though CPU is called processor, video processor is also called processor，

Configuration procedure is as following picture：

1：Configure video server mosaic setup, which will provide 11520*4320 synchronous input resolution，below is Nvidia graphics setup for reference.

2：Set window size 10944*3968 for playing software, varies from different media server software.

3：Mosaic overlap setup. For this project, the upper unit screen height is 2048 pixels, the lower unit screen resolution is 1920, so the overlapped pixels is (2160-2048=112).

4：Final step is video processor configuration，connect Genlock cable from master A65 to slave A65, manual crop parameters is as following.
