LVP7000's system random checksum parameter setting and configuration data fast import and export is designed for this purpose.

System random check value: identify board failure at the first time

The data of the LVP7000 I/O card is backed up on the backplane board, both data will be changed at the same time during configuration. Meanwhile, after changing the output resolution, operating mode, etc., LVP7000 will also write a set of the same random data in the backplane and and the corresponding I/O card, called system random check value. This checksum value can be viewed in the system information menu by pressing the OK button (ie, pressing the knob).

When a certain card has abnormal communication or data error, the check value of this card will be different from that of the system, and it will be displayed in red. At the same time, there will be prompts when starting up, so that users can find problems at the first time and fix the issue.

Data Recovery: Easier Maintenance Operations

After a data error occurs on the board or a new board is replaced, we can conveniently write the original saved board data to the corresponding board, via data recovery function.

For devices like LVP7000, which support multi-image in and multi-image out, and have 16 preset display modes, if you replace a new board for reset, need professional personnel to finish the data writing. But , now the data recovery feature makes this maintenance very easy.

PC software import and export of processor configuration

In addition to data recovery, we will also use the import and export functions with PC software. The export function of the PC software is usually used after the device is configured OK. It can back up all the current LVP7000 setting parameters to configuration files on the PC; while the import function is to import the backup data saved on the PC into LVP7000, restore the LVP7000 to the previously target state. Thus, not only maintenance becomes more convenient, but the parameters can be preset in advance, and the user can directly import configuration file to LVP 7000. So as to reduce on site configuration, save engineering cost.
