When Apple iPad outputs VGA signal through Lightning to VGA Adapter or Lightning to HDMI adapter，there will be black borders on LED screen. In actual application, we would use one LVP 605 to scissor the black edge via image cropping, then output to second LVP 605, the second 605 take functions of seamless switch between IPAD, TV or live camera. Below we give an example to illustrate implementation.

1. On-site hardware

① LED total resolution 1344*716 pixels.

②Source device includes: 1 iPad (with Lightning Digital converter), 1 notebook with VGA output, and 1 analog camera with AV output.

2. Display requirements

Seamless and fades in/out switch among iPad, notebook and live camera, full screen display without black edge.

3. Setup procedure

Two LVP605 video processors configuration:

① The first LVP 605 is used to crop out the black edge from IPAD. Configure IPAD and 605 with same 1024*768_60Hz output resolution. Set output image parameters such as Output width, Output height, Out_H start, Out_V start same with IPAD effective image. Set background Horizontal start, Vertical start at 0, and the background Width and Height are to maximum. Select HDMI input, turn on Bypass function first, and then activate PIP. (No need to select PIP signal)

②The first LVP 605 with IPAD input will output image to the second LVP 605, meanwhile, note book with VGA and live camera with AV will also be accessed to the second LVP 605 . The output resolution of the second LVP 605 is 1366*768_60HZ, the output width and output height are set in accordance with LED actual resolution. Thus realize one key switch among IPAD, Notebook and Live camera without black edge.

4.Advantage analysis

① Easy to operate, one key switch between 3 image sources on second LVP 605.

②Lightning Digital to AV Lightning to Adapter is replaceable.

Note: To realize above function, VDWALL control panel LVS600, multi-window splicer LVP8601 is good nomination also.
