Cascade LVP609 through Genlock,a good application solution to do a dot-to-dot display on a tiny-distance LED screen

We have mentioned how to cascade several LVP609 together in the past article how to distinguish true 4K display and fake 4K display》,now I would like to show you about it using these 2 actual cases.

Case 1

Now there exist a tiny-distance LED screen, its resolution is 5376*1792.

Based on the requirements from the customer, a dot-to-dot display is in need, and according to the tips mentioned in that article, if the resolution of LED is over 3840*2160, we need 2 cascaded LVP609 to do this dot-to-dot display.

In this case, we used 2 LVP609 and 1 graphic card named as AMD W7100, there are 4 output ports on this graphic card, each port reached a resolution 3840*2160_60Hz, in this case, we used 2 DP ports.

The LED reached a resolution of 5376*1792, We divide the LED into 2 parts, and each part of LED is controlled by 1 LVP609, so the resolution of each part is less than 3840*2160. The computer send data respectively to those 2 LVP609, and each processor handle the image separately. This make a perfect effect.

Case 2

There was a huge LED with a resolution of 9984×2376 in Tower Menara Astra, Djakarta, Indonesia, and this is a tiny-distance P2 screen.

This screen is mainly to play advertising videos. As the screen is too big, we need 3 cascaded LVP609 to realize a UHD display.

Divide this LED into 3 parts, and each part is loaded by 1 LVP609, and splice it with a multi-screen graphic car, thus achieve the purpose to make a huge screen.
