Applications of LedSync820H LED HD Video Processor

Rental, staging, TV studio center, theater, high-end meetings, exhibition and so on.

Application 1: multi-functional conference hall

On the most common occasions where LED displays are used, not so many input signals will be needed, but they are required to be switched fast and sometimes two of them must be displayed at the same time, like a manuscript and a live video. For such applications, LedSync820H might be the most suitable and of the best cost performance.

The following is how to realize it:

1. Field condition:

1) A full-color LED display: 1152 (px) × 640 (px).

2) Input signals include: 1 × DVI (computer), 1 × VGA (notebook), 2 × Video (Camera).

3. Display features:

1) Any signal can be selected to be displayed on the display.

2) Seamless or fade-in/fade-out switching effect between any two signals.

3) By using PIP/PBP, any two signals can be displayed at the same time on the display.

4) Brightness adjusting, bypass (part/full display of VGA signal) and etc.

Application 2: using 2 units of LedSync820H to realize synchronous

display on 3 screens

On some occasion, it is required to display the same image on several screens of different sizes. Because of many input signals, before the best solution was to have one processor for each screen plus one more as master control to switch signals, now by PIP/PBP or Bypass of LVP605 or LedSync820H, we can only use one processor to drive 2 screens to realize convenient operation.

The following is how to realize it:

1. Field condition:

1) 3 full-color LED screens, the size of each one is: 1344 × 864, 1152 × 640,

768 × 448.

2) Input signals include: 1 × DVI (computer), 1 × VGA (notebook),

2 × Video (Camera).

2. System diagram:

Using 2 units of LedSync820H:

1) One of them will be used as the master control to drive the screen of 1344 × 864, connect all inputs and output them to another LedSync820H through DVI.

2) Other 2 screens will be combined into a complete one of 1152 × 1088 through LED display control system. By using Bypass (part display) of another LedSync820H to have dual display, other two screens can be set as background picture and sub-picture, in this way the same picture will be displayed on those 3 screens.

3. Function introduction:

1) Dual display: the same input signal can be selected as background picture and sub-picture at the same time.

2) Bypass: a part but not full of input signal will be output as background picture or sub-picture. For example, if the output resolution of one LedSync820H is 1440 × 900, the output horizontal width is 1344 and vertical height is 864, then we can set the output resolution of another LedSync820H as 1600 × 1200, horizontal width as 1344 and vertical height as 768. Finally we will set the size and position of background picture and sub-picture according to that of other 2 screens.

4. Solution advantages:

1) Convenient operation: only need to use one processor to control. We can switch signals fast and use Bypass to display a part or full of computer signal.

2) Low cost: one processor can be used as the “master” to control a LED screen and another one can be used to drive two more screens.
